As a therapist for the past 18 years I have dedicated my life to being the best at helping people go from stuck to thriving, anxious to calm, hopeless to hopeful. My approach is based on a cognitive behavioral model and is affective in treating individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions and chronic pain. Whether you’re facing a painful divorce, dealing with trauma, or struggling with navigating today's unique challenges, we will work together to identify tools to help you find calm and joy in life. I have a number of different approaches to treating trauma and PTSD that can be discussed when we begin our work together. One of these options is a highly-researched and effective form of treatment for trauma called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR has an effectiveness rate of 84-90%.
